Research

Most of the researchers at the Department of Life Sciences are involved in International Networks and Scientific Collaborations supported and funded by the EU, by public and private Foundations and by private Associations.

Senior and young investigators as well as PhD and graduate students   are all encouraged to consider the advantage of working in a foreign lab learning new research techniques, being involved in cutting edge research programs, thus networking with new colleagues in stimulating environments.  Many research programs and fellowships can support these activities.

Moreover, In order to support researchers and the activities of fundraising, DSV’s Administration has been implemented with a Grant Officer who can help in gathering further information about grant’s proposals, gives the applicant advice on improving the application where necessary, deals with general enquiries.
