Teaching Secretariat: Services Offered by the Department of Life Sciences

Main Activities:

  • Support for Department Management: Assisting the Department Director, Course Presidents, and Study Program Committees with teaching-related tasks and procedures.
  • Review of Study Program Resolutions: Preparing study program decisions for submission to the Department Council.
  • Course Offering Planning: Assisting in the planning phase of educational offerings.
  • SUA-CdS Preparation and Monitoring: Assisting in the preparation of the SUA-CdS (Self-Assessment Form for Degree Programs) and post-offering review.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Supporting the Quality Assurance (RQD) for the Department’s Study Programs.
  • External Teaching Management: Managing administrative tasks related to seminars and teaching assignments for external personnel.
  • Administrative Management of Master’s Programs and Specialized Courses: Handling administrative aspects of Master's programs and specialization courses.
  • Orientation and Tutoring Support: Assisting with student orientation initiatives and supporting the Department’s orientation and tutoring contact person.
  • Ongoing Tutoring Management: Managing tutoring practices (e.g., youth support fund, classroom tutors) and specific projects (e.g., POT and PLS).
  • Internship Organization and Management: Coordinating internships from both student and company perspectives, and assisting with job placement and orientation.
  • Student Career Management: Collaborating with the Student Secretariat on student careers and issuing admission calls.
  • Information Support: Providing information to students and faculty on educational organization and Esse3 issues.
  • Website Update: Updating the Department’s website with information about educational offerings.
