The DSV organizes numerous Public Engagement (PE) activities that are non-profit and have significant educational, cultural, and social value, aimed at a non-academic audience. In particular, PE activities are focused on engaging and interacting with the school community and organizing initiatives for the promotion, consultation, and sharing of research. Departmental PE activities also include active participation in public meetings organized by various entities, organizations, and institutions, as well as the creation of publications (both print and digital) targeted at the general public. These PE activities help the DSV bridge the gap between the research world and citizens, bringing research outcomes to the attention of the community.
