Safety Committee

The Safety Committee, which succeeded the previous Working Group on Safety, is composed of the Representatives from the various Departmental structures who, if deemed useful and proportional to the complexity of the structure, may be assisted by technical staff units.

The Committee is responsible for coordinating activities to implement:

• Constant and widespread awareness-raising among staff (both permanent and non-permanent) on safety matters, including through periodic interventions at the Department Council meetings;
• Promoting the application and ensuring compliance with safety procedures in the laboratories of the various Department structures, also in light of the adjustments required by current regulations;
• Conducting periodic monitoring of actions aimed at ensuring workplace safety;
• Developing the annual improvement plan, which must be submitted at the beginning of the year to the Rector, the Prevention and Protection Service, and the Head of the Technical Department;
• Suggesting improvements and/or contributing to the enhancement of the Department's webpage dedicated to safety.
