The Interdepartmental Center for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine (CIDSTEM) at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia is based at the "Stefano Ferrari" Center for Regenerative Medicine. This center is an international reference point for advanced therapies using epithelial stem cells and is equipped with a GMP-authorized pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
The UNIMORE Center for Genome Research was established to promote the improvement of either basic and applied research on genomics and the spreading of the results between academic contexts and both public and private research corporations. It is also aimed to promote the integration among different research activities, and the collaboration among the various scientific structures of the university and between the academia and other research corporations or the entrepreneurial world.
BIOGEST-SITEIA is the interdepartmental research center for the improvement and valorization of agro-food biological resources at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The activities of Biogest-Siteia also aim to pursue scientific research objectives to ensure an excellent technological transfer offering, updated and in line with the latest research achievements.
