SISTA Excellence Programme – PdE-SISTA

The PdE-SISTA is designed to recognize and support the talent, motivation, and commitment of the most outstanding students enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Integrated Sustainability of Agricultural Systems. The programme offers an integrated and personalized learning path aimed at enriching scientific, technical and professional knowledge, while promoting the development of interdisciplinary skills and a strong academic and professional identity.

PdE-SISTA includes 150 hours of additional learning activities, equivalent to 6 ECTS credits, tailored to each student’s interests and personal vocation. A final certificate is issued by the Department of Life Sciences.

The PdE-SISTA aims to: 1) Strengthen interdisciplinary and transversal skills, 2) Deepen technical and scientific knowledge, 3) Develop technical-practical and professional abilities.

The programme takes place during the second year of the Master’s degree. Each academic year, 2 students are selected based on merit, and the program must be completed by October of the final year.

To apply, students must be enrolled for the first time in the second year of the Master’s degree, have obtained at least 90% of the ECTS credits scheduled for the first year by September 30, have a weighted average grade of no less than 28/30, with a minimum grade of 27/30 in each course unit. Admission is based on a merit ranking, established by a dedicated Committee of the Master’s degree.

To successfully complete the PdE-SISTA, students must earn all the ECTS credits from both the Excellence Programme and the standard Study Plan, maintain a final average grade of at least 28/30.
