SISTA students can take part in the Double Degree Program (DDP) with the Polytechnic University of Coimbra (Portugal). Both programmes are organized in theoretical lessons, laboratory activities and projects. A mobility period (at least 6 months, minimum 30 ECTS) at the partner university is mandatory, and by completing part of their Master's studies at the Partner university, students will obtain two officially recognized Master’s degrees, one in Italy and one in Portugal.
Through the DDP students learn how to develop analyses, identify innovative solutions allowing economic, environmental, and social sustainability to coexist, in line with the policies outlined by the European Union within the European Green Deal programme, and to guide the transition of agriculture towards the Sustainable Development Goals (UN Agenda 2030). Furthermore, master’s students within the DDP have the chance to prepare an experimental thesis taking advantage of a broader spectrum of opportunities, expertise, and research facilities, thus “learning by doing” in highly qualified HEI within an international and stimulating environment.
SISTA x MAB offers students a range of benefits:
- A distinctive and competitive academic profile in the international job market;
- A meaningful intercultural and language experience;
- Access to broader academic and professional networks;
- Automatic recognition of degrees in both partner countries.
