In cases specified by national or European Union regulations, the master's degree can be a single-cycle program, which means it consists of a course of study accessible with a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable, with a standard duration of 5 or 6 years.

To earn the master's degree in single-cycle programs, along with the academic title of Master, students must have accumulated 300 or 360 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits, depending on the duration of the program.
