The Presidents of the Study Program Councils, for better coordination, are organized into a Commission of Study Program Presidents within the Department. The Commission is chaired by a Coordinator elected by its members. The Director may be invited to the Commission meetings, in which they participate without voting rights.
The tasks of the Commission are as follows:
- To monitor and coordinate the educational activities of the Study Programs active within the Department, as well as tutoring and guidance activities.
- To provide advisory opinions and/or formulate proposals regarding the activation or deactivation of Study Programs.
- To promote initiatives related to educational activities in collaboration with cultural and research institutions, as well as local, national, and international entities and companies.
The Commission meets upon the Coordinator's invitation at least once a year, or whenever the Coordinator deems it necessary, within the timeframes set by current regulations, to discuss and express an opinion on the educational offerings. The Commission may also be convened in an extraordinary manner by the Director, the Board, or upon the request of at least three of its members.
