The Joint Teaching Staff-Student Committee is a Department Committee and is composed of an equal number of faculty members and students, possibly representative of all the Degree Courses pertaining to the Department. The Committee is coordinated by a faculty member.

The main task of the Committee is to prepare an annual report, which takes into consideration the overall educational offerings, with particular focus onto the results of the student opinion survey, indicating any problems specific to individual Degree Courses.

The annual report of the Committee, based on elements of independent, is transmitted to Faculty and Department members, which may plan specific action of improvement. The annual report is also sent to the University Presidium Quality and to the Ministry of the University.

In addition, the Joint Teaching Staff-Student Committee has the following tasks:

- carry out monitoring activities of the teaching activities and quality, as well as student’s facilities;

- identify indicators for the evaluation of results;

- formulate proposals for improving the Quality of the Degree Courses;

- formulate opinions on the activation and suppression of Degree Courses.
